20 years ago I . . .
1. I was 10 yrs old LOL!!
2. I had just migrated from Santiago, Chile to live in the Capital of Australia
3. I hated school as I had just come out of an ESL school and was teased etc by the other kids :( Kids can be cruel
4. I Don’t remember much else really…
10 years ago I . . .
1.I was blissfully in the honeymoon stage of our marriage, we got married in February 1997.
2. We had just moved from our Govt. flat in August to a nice townhouse in a much nicer part of town and loving it.
3. I was working at City Camera House as a printer and was soon about to start managing the shop.
4. Was loving being a young married couple!
5 years ago I . . .
1. Was still emotionally recovering from my first miscarriage earlier on that year :(
2. Was learning to trust God in the above mentioned and in DH’s struggle to find a job in the field he had studied, Geology.
3. Was about to get the shock of my life when DH found a great job but it was 8hrs from our then home, Canberra (we moved away 4½ years ago)
4. Was still loving being a young married couple.
3 years ago I . . .
1.I was loving being pregnant in what would seem to be the longest pregnancy ever! Still had two months to go!
2. Had recently moved house to a bigger nicer home for our baby to call home in Cobar.
3. I was loving being surrounded by wonderful friends who were there to share this time in my life.
4. Was sad to know that I wouldn’t be around family at this same time :(
1 year ago I . . .
1. I hesitantly supported my dear husband in making the decision to move to Mt Isa, QLD.
2. I was struggling to make friends in this bigger town and terribly missing my old friends in Cobar.
3. I had just come home from the Louth Scrapbooking Retreat where we had a ball before having to return to the Isa :(
4. Was the first time I travelled on a plane on my own with a toddler, wasn’t too bad at all!
So far this year I . . .
1. Thank God for giving us the opportunity to move and adapt to where he wants us.
2. Thank God daily for the friends I have all over the place.
3. Have been camping for the first time and loved it!!
4. Have miscarried once again in March but am now in my 9th week of pregnancy and all is going well PTL!!!
Yesterday I . . .
1. Slept in a little longer than usual and felt great- i.e.: not too much nausea :)
2. I turned up to playgroup but it wasn’t on because school holidays start next week so…
3. We went to Mc Cafe with a friend and her gorgeous little one instead.
4. Got some ironing done finally…
Today I . . .
1. Made chocolate biscuits with Jesse
2. Went for a doctor’s appt to confirm pregnancy including blood tests
3. Plan to make a roast rack of lamb for the first time
4. Plan to upload this to my blog :)
Tomorrow I. . .
1. Will hopefully start my day with some soft boiled eggs for brekkie…in bed of course (hint-hint Lalo) :)
2. Plan to have a quiet day at home.
3. Maybe get some scrapping done while Jesse sleeps
4. Vaccum & Mop the floors if I find the energy.
In the next 12 months I shall . . .
1. Keep my trust in God
2. Have my sister & niece visit us in Mt Isa
3. Give birth to a beautiful healthy baby…
4. Keep enjoying the life God provided for us.
