The good, the bad and the ugly...

Ok, let me start with the ugly... Jesse (who is the furthest from being ugly than anyone reading or typing this blog! LOL) has had a tummy bug :( That's the ugly part, so are the messes mummy has had to clean up! He's looking up thank goodness but it hasnt been pleasant at all... which brings me to the bad...

As of last night it looked like i'd caught the same bug, probably due to the nights of me curled up next to Jesse with the bucket in hand for nights on end, getting next to no sleep but breathing in all the germs and whatever causes this thing!

The good thing is that i seem to have had only one night of it rather than the many nights so it may just be that i was so tired from the above mentioned rather than the actual bug... Still praying tonight isn't a repeat of the night before.

In between all of this Lalo has had a few days off and so has been here to relieve the large pregnant woman from some of the constant demands of a sick three year old but as most boys are when they are sick Jesse just wants his Mummy.

Weird bug this one though coz you'll be fine one day and then you're up all night and then you wake up fine again until the evening... etc.

Thinking Jesse was over the worst Lalo thought to take a drive to Camooweal and the NT border to put some K's on the car and took Jesse with him on Wednesday... Leaving me with lots of time on my hands to do some scrapping (in amongst the other house things needing to be done of course) YAY!!! So here's what i missed out on...

But here's what I got done... from that day on :)

And it looks like Saturday might be anohter driving day for Father & Son... can you hear me complaining?? LOL
Oh and sometime before all the bad & ulgy came about Jesse went out and played in the rain with his favourite gumboots & umbrella from London (same place where the Pussycat went to visit the queen says Jesse *wink*)...

  1. Oh Carol, I hope you guys are all over the nasty bugs - not pleasant at all. Glad to hear you got a little "me" time. Wow I didn't know there was a road in Qld that had a 130km speed zone. Love the photo of Jesse with his umbrella and gum boots too. so cute.

  2. We had a really bad steak (we think it was steak) sandwich in Camooweal. Bill would also like to point out that when we went though on bikes the speed limit was unrestricted - not 130. You can imagine what speed he went through at.
    Hope you are all better.
