This is Lily sleeping soundly...
Food time comes around and we begin to stir her up to feed...
Sometimes our weapons of choice are wet washers or wipes, rubbing her feet and undressing her a little...
To her credit she does try and open her eyes... briefly.
But more often than not it takes a good 15-20 minutes to wake this sleeping bear from her slumber.
SO provided we have been successful at waking Miss Lily to have take in her nourishment she then proceeds to fall asleep halfway through her feed so she can have us repeat the above mentioned tricks whilst changing her nappy. This happens about 6-7 times a day and once during the night.
There you have it, a typical day for Miss Lily Angelica Gonzalez.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to see that your little princess is doing well! Joanna was the same! We would have to tickle her feet to get her to feed and even then she would only have one breast! But she is sooooo BIG now it is just amazing! Enjoy your time will you angel, it goes oh so quickly! ;)

Sounds like the perfect baby to me Carol. I can't believe how much she has changed since the post before. What a gorgeous little girl - I'm jealous she has such a head ful of hair. My kids were pretty bald until they were 2.

ReplyDeleteOooohhhh!!! She's so adorable! Gorgeous pics - I especially love the one with her little arms stretching up :) I remember those sleepy early weeks like they were yesterday. So happy to hear things are going well.
