The show must go on...

It is now Sunday afternoon and both 'boys' are in bed napping after a pretty big day yesterday, and as you would expect i'm NOT (for those of you who dont know i dont 'nap')LOL

Ok so yesterday began pretty slowly, Jesse kinda slept in and wandered into our room at about 8.30am and then was happy to go and play with trainset while we got up and got ready. It was by this time that i started to realise i wasn't feeling 100% ...again :( but (me) not wanting to miss out on anything we got ready and made tracks to get out of the house by midday and check out the Rodeo attractions we had missed on Friday. By the time we left the house the drugs had kicked in and my fever had come down. Hats on and boots ready we wandered around the side show alley where Jesse went on the ponyrides... ...and then around to the Bullpit and saw some of the action that this weekend is all about.

To my surprise Jesse wasn't all that interested in the cowboys, horses and bulls even though he thinks he IS one (because of the hat)... but he was happy enough to sit and eat wedges and sour cream while we took in all the oohs and aaahs of the buck riding and other events. Next time it was time for ice-cream and then we met up with the Layts (having lost them the night before in all the hoohaa of the parade and the masses of people) and the Nicolosi's also...

We all had a ball on the dodgems, and on the giant slide, i even have a burn on my elbow to prove i went on it (with Jesse of course LOL!) . Soon after one of the Layt boys was feeling kinda sick so we went home leaving half the troop at behind to continue with the festivites, after all there were DaeWooDogs (sp?) to be eaten and motorbike rides to be ridden!

There ends our day at the rodeo, plenty of fun and dust to go round!.

Oh, and as for me, i'm still kinda sick unfortunately but i'm feeling better today than i was yestrday and never sick enough to not scrapbook so tonight i will endeavour to finish off my Circle Journal for Scrap of Faith and have it sent off by middle of the week. Here's a sneak peek... *wink*
