Again our belated Christmas celebration was more about fellowshipping together which is really nice and again Jesse was able to really get to know the people in his extended family. I love that as he gets older he remembers more of what goes on so next time he sees them it’s not all new again. On this trip he couldn’t get enough of his cousin Jasmine (8yo), I mean they all played well together for the most part but here he kept saying “Mummy… I LUB Jasmine” so cute.
We finally made it to the beach for what originally was going to be just a walk as it was still too cold by our standards. As we arrived on the beach the people both in the water and on the beach seemed to be at a standstill, then we realised they were all watching the dolphins perform. Of course I was too engrossed to take photos (I know, shock horror scandal!!!) and when I thought of it they were just too far for my humble little camera… The older kids decided if there was water they would go in… Jesse followed suit but after the first splash thought better of it and played on the sand instead. The next few days were better as far as the beach is concerned; lots of sun and heat came our way and that meant swimming lots of great photo ops LOL! Goodbyes had to come and we left a teary Grandma & Jasmine behind ready for our next adventure further up the coast…
