Yes, in 3 more sleeps we'll be driving out the driveway coast bound! The plan is to be in Charters Towers for one night on our way to Cairns, spend 4 nights there and then move onto Townsville for a couple of nights before heading back home for a couple more days of just relaxing before Lalo heads back to work.
I'll be spending my birthday (yes poeple it's coming up so get to it!LOL) in the same city we honeymooned in so that's a bit romantic... we'll have the kids with us of course LOL!
Some of the places we hope to check out are the
Kuranda markets, maybe the
Skyrail and or the
Scenic Train also the
Zoo would be a cool to take the kids to and of course lots of shopping BUT all this depends on the cost vs entertainment value so if you have any thoughts or suggestions on these PLEASE let me know!
Not much else has been happening around here, i've been doing minimal sewing and a bit of scrapbooking but my Photoshop is AWOL at the moment so there are no photos to share at least until i come back... i heard a rumble that by then it will be sorted :)

I found the markets were worth a look, but the particular wildlife park thing we went to in Kuranda was quite dissapointing (i don't remember which one it was). The scenic train was good but quite expensive (like most things in Cairns). I wouldn't recommend taking it both ways - once is enough. Going out on the reef is excellent - but probably difficult and not so fun with kids.
