April Happenings

I've been gonna gonna do this for the last two weeks and finally here I am and I still should be doing other things but those of you who know me I thrive on doing a million things at a time so there you go.

There's a few things to share about in the last month, least of which is a very special birthday but that deserves a post if it's own so I'll share about the rest of the month first.

First I HAVE to thank my BFF for sending me this gorgeous gift for my birthday...

For Easter Lalo had all those days off which for him meant getting straight into the gardening and great for me because he found these little critters for me to photograph...

I'm loving having my Photoshop up and running with my new PC and my wonderful lenses and camera so I've taken it upon myself to finally get the most out of it all... much to the dismay of my children who I'm sure are starting to believe that the camera will have to be surgically removed form my head LOL! Here's a few of the (un)willing subjects...

Ok... so for Easter while Lalo was gardening (we did help for a bit but there are some thing that only Daddies can do) Jesse an I went inside and did a bit of baking...

and some more cooking to take to church

It was really nice that as we were baking and cooking Jesse asked just the right questions about what Easter is really about and what happened on the Cross and what Jesus did etc. It was also so cute to hear Jesse say "we are blethed to be a blething" as I explained to him why we like to bake things for others and bless others with everything God gives us. It's moments like these, and they happen all the time, that i love being a stay at home mummy ready to answer questions and instill the knowledge about our AWESOME God and his Word in their little hearts.

She's such a little character already, loves getting attention even if it means we're laughing at her as well as with her LOL! This one will definitely come out for her 21st! LOL!
