Hello again my loyal subjects, hope this day finds you and your kin well. There is not much news on the home front really, life just goes on as it usually does. Dont get me wrong, i'm not bored nor 'eating the bread of idleness' but i just dont know how much of my 'life' you're actually interested in hearing LOL!
Let me see... Monday we did the housework as per usual but finished rather early so we went visiting, thanks Aunty Ali for always being home when we need to get out of the house LOL!
Tuesday was playgroup day and for the first time we went on our own as our friends had other plans... wasn't as much fun for me but i think once Jesse stopped asking where was Abby & Joshua he occupied himself with the toys and had fun.
Wednesday was a good day, Alison, Abby & Kaleb came for morning tea which turned into lunch (as it susually does) but then also turned into afternoon tea with the boys and ultimately the two families enjoyed take away pizza for dinner! Gotta love being blessed with friends who dont get sick of us LOL!
I had my first antenatal appt on thursday with everything going according to plan of course, the Obstetrician did a mini ultrasound where i saw Lilibean move it's head from side to side, so cute already!
Friday was another social day (if you really knew me this wouldn't surprise you) Alison was kind enough to pick up a rather bulky toy to take back to the library for me in return for a coffee that same morning. Shortly after they left we had little Sam and his mum come over for a play. Both mums and bubs had a good time it seems, especially Sam who was fascinated by throwing toys into the inflatable pool LOL!
So as you can see i am not NOT busy just not very exciting to read about probably... I totally love that God has blessed me with wonderful friends and when i'm not spending time with them physically i'm probably on the phone to one of them whether here or in Cobar (Sarah) or in Canberra (Pily) or in Dubbo (Michelle)! Of course all the in betweens are filled in by parenting my almost three year old and most importantly spending time with my wonderful DH who as we speak is tackling his NEMESIS...
I speak of course of the HUGE hedge that shelters our rental home from the road, noise and onlookers.
This image is probably not an accurate representation of Lalo working on it as the sides of his mouth are not usually turned up in this manner...
So that is the run down of the week, we have done some craft activities during the day which i've been meaning to photograph so i'll get to that and then post some piccies but for now i think i've covered it...

Gonna say the say thing Ro - of for a week to be able to catch up with friends, My life has been pretty mundane, but it is all work, work work. What a blessing to have such great friends to spend time with and catch up.
ReplyDeletelol, I thought that photo looked a bit strange, a hubby smiling while doing some work in the garden!!
ReplyDeleteI love the nickname Lilibean for your little bubby!
Your Wednesday Carlina sounded so much like the Thursday we used to have in Cobar. LOL! It started off as Thursday's being morning tea, then emerged into lunch, then afternoon tea. Once Mum's picked up a child or two from school it ended up in afternoon tea.
ReplyDeleteActually that was most days that Ro and I didn't want to work. Hey Ro! Which was was quick often.
So I definately know how blessed you feel. It was such a special thing to have wonderful and fantastic friends.
Wow! I haven't even updated my blog this much! LOL!
Pray that you and bub are feeling well.
