Hum Drum...

First let me congratulate my little sister and her family on the birth of their second little princess Kairi Esther Abideen born on Tuesday 4th March.

Isn't she just adorable??? They are all doing well and at home now adjusting to life as a family of four...soon that will be us too LOL!

Not much really happening in the oh so exciting world that is OUR life hence the lack of posts of late. That and the lack of time that i want to be spending sitting upright at the PC while this baby tries to kick her way out *shock*!! Seriously, Jesse was never this active while in-utero and i'm beginning to wonder if she'll be born walking and running at the rate she's going! Of course this all indicates that all is going well so i have to be thankful for that :)

Classes at the LSS are going well, i have classes every week til i choose to stop and then we'll see after baby's born but just today i've been informed that the shop won't be a scrapping shop much longer as of the new financial year :(

You see the shop is actually two shops in one, a kitchen shop stocking all sorts of culinary tools as well as providing services as cake tin hire etc. and the other half is the scrapping/cardmaking/wedding invites shop. The scrapbooking/cardmaking side of the business is taking up too much space for the amount of turnover (or lack thereof) it generates so it has to go to make room for more kitchen stuff as that side is thriving. Soooo... i just thank God that it's not my livelyhood LOL but seriously i thank God that i had the chance to meet these ladies and maybe made a connection or two :)

What else... Ummm... oh, it seems we have a teenager in the house! After being so sick a while ago we thought Jesse was just catching up on the two weeks of not eating but it has continued well and truly and is eating us out of house and home! One upon a time we used to be able to share a banana or at least use the same apple for morning and afternoon tea but nowadays we're lucky if we get a glimpse of the fruit in the house! The same boy whom i had to prompt at every bite of a half sandwich is now eating a whole sandwich plus the fruit, biscuit and 'treat' that is out on his plate and has the nerve to say on a regular basis "i will still be hungry after i finish my lunch"! I seriously had thoughts when he got sick that i should be giving him apetite vitamins or something similar but God who hears my thoughts has obviously answered my unsaid prayers yet again! No need to spend money on vitamins just be prepared for the increased grocery bill LOL!

Well that's all for now i think... i'll leave with you the latest layouts i've completed since the last post but don't get too excited, i've been kinda slack in that area also... *oops*
